About family tours in Singapore
Singapore is unusually easy to travel with children: the transport is clean and air-conditioned, tap water is drinkable, nappy-changing facilities are everywhere, and the distances between attractions are short. What families usually need help with is pacing — the heat catches out visitors who plan a European-density itinerary.
The Singapore Zoo anchors our family category for good reason. It is an open-concept zoo, meaning moats and vegetation replace most cages, so children see 2,800 animals across 26 hectares without looking through bars. The Jungle Breakfast puts orangutans a few metres from your table, and the adjoining River Safari adds a boat ride past giant pandas and Amazon river giants.
Every family tour is built around a mid-afternoon break and keeps to stroller-accessible routes. If your group spans a wide age range, we will usually suggest turning it into a private departure so the day can flex around naps and meltdowns rather than a fixed schedule.

Family tours — FAQ
What age are the family tours suitable for?
All ages. The Singapore Zoo is fully stroller-accessible, has shaded rest areas throughout, and includes Rainforest Kidzworld with water play for toddlers and younger children. Older children generally get more out of the River Safari boat ride.
Can we book the Jungle Breakfast with orangutans?
Yes — it runs each morning at the Ah Meng Restaurant and needs to be reserved in advance because seating is limited. Tell us when you book and we will secure the table and shift the pick-up time earlier.
Are child seats provided for the transfers?
Yes, at no extra cost. Let us know your children's ages and weights when you enquire so the right seats are fitted before pick-up.
